The 'Players' perform two shows a year, normally in April & November.
We are all amateurs who live in or around Beckley. And we endeavour to produce the shows to the best of our abilities. In recent times we have produced a number of pantomimes & plays that has enabled us to use a lot of local young talent within the shows. Also, we have been very fortunate to have a local artist helping us with the scenery, which has really brought the stage alive. During the 8 weeks of rehearsals leading up to each show, we have a lot of fun & laughs getting use to the various character's that we are trying to portray. However, it is the feed back & appreciation of the audience's that makes the hard work in producing the shows all worth while.
