During the Bowling season, members compete in a number of knock out competitions . The Finals of all the competitions take place in early September.

In 2008 Paul Wicks was crowned Club Champion after beating Sarah Johnstone in the Final.

Welcome

W hether or not you are a local resident or living on the other side of the world we would like to extend a very warm welcome to you.

Our club is situated in a quite rural village on the Sussex & Kent border in the South East of England, approximately 5 miles from Rye & 10 miles from Hastings, which is on the English Channel coast.

Although we are not a large club, we do however pride our selves in having a well maintained green together with new modern clubhouse facilities.

Every effort is made to encourage new members of all age groups to join the club.

Like most sports, the game of bowls can be very interesting, skilful, competitive, and at times very frustrating. (Especially when the bowl known as a 'wood' does not go where you intended it to go!) But combine this with the friendly atmosphere & support of the club membership & that of the visiting clubs, it is a nice way to enjoy your leisure time in the fresh air. SO GIVE IT A TRY !
